ALS (Autonomous Logistic Solutions), in partnership with Zelos, is launching Malaysia’s first public road trial of an autonomous logistics vehicle and has successfully hosted an invitation-only demonstration of the country’s first enterprise-grade Level 4 (L4) Autonomous Logistics Vehicle (ALV) at ALS Malaysia office — marking a milestone in Malaysia’s autonomous driving development and signaling the beginning of the nation’s journey toward mainstream adoption of autonomous mobility, setting the stage to lead in next-generation logistics and transportation solutions.

ALS is partnering with Zelos to launch Malaysia’s first public road trial of an autonomous logistics vehicle, marking a milestone in the country’s autonomous driving development.

This historic milestone signals the beginning of Malaysia’s journey toward mainstream adoption of autonomous mobility, setting the stage for the country to lead in next-generation logistics and transportation solutions.

The demonstration drew strong interest from key stakeholders, including senior representatives from the Ministry of Transport Malaysia, alongside leaders from FUTURISE, Digital Nasional Berhad (DNB), and a broad network of enterprise and business owners from across Malaysia.

The event demonstrated how L4 autonomous vehicles can deliver transformative benefits for Malaysia’s logistics sector while creating a ripple effect across the wider economy.

Through this collaboration, ALS and Zelos are pioneering the first road-qualified L4 Autonomous Logistics Vehicle in Malaysia, setting new benchmarks for safe, smart, and sustainable mobility. The initiative aligns with national priorities on innovation, safety, and regulatory modernization to support cutting-edge transportation technologies

By engaging with multiple government agencies and regulatory bodies, this demonstration signifies the start of a formal pathway for L4 vehicle adoption in Malaysia, unlocking applications in warehousing, ports, manufacturing, retail, and logistics.

ALS reaffirmed its commitment to continue working with Zelos on the future development of new vehicle models designed to address Malaysia’s specific logistics and infrastructure needs. This includes solutions tailored to diverse operating environments, strengthening the country’s ability to accelerate adoption while ensuring local relevance.

Equally important, this initiative will bring greater awareness and education around L4 autonomous vehicles. The timing provides a unique opportunity to introduce the technology to the public, build trust, and raise Malaysia’s readiness level as the country moves closer to mainstream deployment.

This collaboration not only positions Malaysia as a testbed and launchpad for regional expansion across Southeast Asia, but also strengthens the broader ecosystem of public-private partnerships driving innovation.
